Location and Directions

Our event is held at Bethesda Park in Jacksonville FL. It is a 49 acre park with a 20 acre stocked fishing lake, boardwalks, a lodge, cabins, and picnic areas.

There are four cabins at this park. We have access to them all for our retreat. We can accomodate 18 guests.

Each cabin has air conditioning and heat. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower. Each cabin has a kitchenette, but please do not use these. All food will be stored in the Staff cabin and meals will be prepared and served there. Limiting the use of the kitchens and refrigerators will help on clean up for staff and volunteers.

In Jacksonville, take 295 to Dunn Ave. and exit east. Key Haven is the first road on the right about .3 miles from 295. It is BEFORE you get to the traffic light at the Gate gas station.

Key Haven goes through a small neighborhood. It is the main road and dead ends into the drive for Bethesda Park. When you reach the end of Key Haven, you will curve around to the right and enter the park.

If you are near 9A, you can take 9A to 295. You would go South on 295. Dunn Ave is not far from there.

Here is beautiful Bethesda Park Lake. It is a fish management lake, so it is stocked.

These are the bunks. Each cabin has these in the wall. Cute, huh?! This is what sold us when we viewed the park!

This is the kitchenette in one cabin.

These are cabins 3 and 4. You can also see the area in front of the cabin where we will be meeting for the nightly campfire.

These are cabins 1 and 2. The cabin duplexes are located across from each other.

Bethesda Park Lodge. We won't be using this for the retreat, but it's a beautiful building that can be rented.
